Greta Valley Marathon Relay (Saturday, 20th September 2014)

The club had 3 teams in this year's Greta Valley relay with Kerry Faass running a lap record on lap 5. Full results including individual lap times are availble from the race website.

2014 National Road Championships (Saturday, 6th September 2014)

Last Saturday in Tauranga two of our members achieved a quinella. Callan Moody capped off a hugely successful season by adding the National Road title to his National Cross Country title. He was followed about 9 seconds later by his flatmate, Daniel Balchin, who had claimed the Canterbury Road title two weeks earlier. Callan has been selected for the NZ team to compete at the Oceania Cross Country Championships in Guam in October. These two athletes will be a crucial part of the New Brighton Olympic defense of their National Road Relay title on 4th October.NZ Road Champs

Canterbury Road Championships (Saturday, 23rd August 2014)

Canterbury Road Champs 2014

The Canterbury Road Champs on August 23rd produced great results for the club. Our masters women had age group placings thanks to the efforts of Ronalda Reid, Tessa Holland and Carolyn Forsey. Our junior runners were Evan Young, Caitlin Close, Maia Keepa, Nicholas Close and Corban Straker.
The Men's 10k race was won convincingly by Dan Balchin. Mark Bailey was second fastest overall and first Master. Dave Ridley, Kerry Faass and Dallas Wichman were in the top 6 time-wise. David Macdonald won his age group and Greg Harney was second in his.
